Parish Council

The Parish Council meets at 7.30pm every third Wednesday of the month (except August) in the Sunday school room at the back of the Methodist church on Repps road (conveniently next to the Victoria public house!). You are always invited to attend and time is allotted at the start of the meeting for a public forum where any issues can be raised by you.

Councillor Surgery

The Council runs a surgery on the last Saturday of the month between 10.00am and 12.00 noon in the Sunday school room at the back of the Methodist church on Repps road.

Two Parish Councillors are in attendance, Come along and have a cuppa and biscuits!

Notice Boards

The councils official notice boards have undergone a major revamp to improve our information dissemination.

New larger boards have been erected and are located at the following places:

  1. Outside the DIY, junction of Cess Road and Repps Road.
  2. On the gable end of the bus shelter The Green.
  3. Outside the village hall, White Street.

The blue notice board next to the bus shelter on The Green (Black Street) is for information regarding upcoming events and anyone in the village can ask the Clerk to put up a notice.

Martham Parish Plan

Martham Parish Plan - "A Vision for the Future 2004' was delivered to every household and business in Martham. The results of this survey are being used regularly by the Council in decision making for the future of the village. It is being used by local authorities, planners, voluntary groups.
