Meet your Councillors

Councillor Mike HukeMike Huke 01493 740485  Email

Current Chairman. Served on the council since May 2002
I am married with two lovely daughters. I have spent all, apart from one year of my married life in the village. I worked in engineering for 20 years before changing direction completely to run a local pet shop and aquatic centre. I enjoy gardening, sport and regularly play squash at a local club. I am keen to work towards retaining, and where possible, protecting the village way of life.

Councillor Julie BealesJulie Beales Phone/Fax 01493 748547 Email

Served on council since June 2004.
I have lived in Martham for 21 years, before that I lived in Repps. I am married with three children and have always been involved in village life starting 18 years ago with Mothers and Toddlers, moving on to Playgroup and then supporting all three schools which my children have attended. I strongly believe in keeping Martham as a village with lots of activities for adults and younger people.
