Councillors
Current Chairman. Served on the Council since May
2002
I am married with two daughters. I have spent all, apart from one year
of my married life in the village. I worked in engineering for 20 years
before changing direction completely to run a local pet shop and aquatic
centre. I enjoy gardening, sport and regularly play squash at a local
club. I am keen to work towards retaining, and where possible, protecting
the village way of life.

I have served on the Council since June 2004. I have lived in Martham since 1983, before that I lived in Repps. I am married with three children and have always been involved in village life starting with Mothers and Toddlers, moving on to Playgroup and then supporting all three schools which my children have attended. I strongly believe in keeping Martham as a village with lots of activities for adults and younger people.

I moved to the village in 2005 and with my husband Mark opened two shops on The Green. I am passionate about village life and by trading at the hub of the village I think I am in a good position to meet a wide range of people and help improve the village for the benefit of everyone.
