Welcome to Martham

Village Green With a population of over 3000, Martham is an historical and traditional British village retaining its Norfolk charm. It is located 9 miles North of Great Yarmouth, 15 miles East of Norwich and 3 miles West of the beautiful unspoilt sand dunes of the North Sea. The Village lies partly in the Norfolk Broads National Park and one of its boundaries is the upper reaches of the Thurne river - a world famous fishing location.

CAB

A free confidential drop in service is being provided by Citizens Advice Bureau trained staff at the Trinity Sure Start Children's Centre, Black Street on the 3rd Monday of each month from 10am to 2pm.
The service is free, confidential and open to everyone
The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing information and advice

Save Money on Oil Heating Bills!

There is now an oil syndicate scheme especially for Martham residents run by Norfolk Rural Community Council in association with AF Affinity.

Martham Community Gym

The new Community Gym is held at Martham Community Centre, Playingfield Lane, Off Rollesby Road. For more details see the 'News' page.  Activities are open to anyone over the age of 16, living in Martham or the surrounding villages, wanting to improve their fitness.  Sessions run on Monday evenings and throughout Tuesdays with each session lasting 45 minutes and costing just £2 per person per session.  There is no joining or registration fee.
