Welcome to Martham
With a population of over 3000, Martham is an historical and
traditional British village retaining its Norfolk charm. It is
located 9 miles North of Great Yarmouth, 15 miles East of
Norwich and 3 miles West of the beautiful unspoilt sand dunes of the
North Sea. The Village lies partly in the Norfolk Broads National
Park and one of its boundaries is the upper reaches of the Thurne
river - a world famous fishing location.

A free confidential drop in service is being provided by Citizens
Advice Bureau trained staff at the Trinity Sure Start Children's
Centre, Black Street on the 3rd Monday of each month from 10am to
2pm.
The service is free,
confidential and open to everyone
The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money
and other problems by providing information and advice.

The centre of Martham has a post office, a couple of pubs,
a supermarket, Medical Centre, a pharmacy and a variety of other
shops. Overall, the village has, amongst other things, over 30
businesses, two schools, a public library, a large playing field
with a new all purpose young peoples playground, skate park and
multi games arena.
